Hi friends! ♡

This week is all about simple homemade touches that make fall a little more fun.

MAKE THIS

10-Minute Cork Apple

This little apple started with a cute wine cork pumpkin I spotted on Pinterest from Brittany at Our Home Made Easy. It made me wonder if I could use the same idea to make an apple, so I took a quick look around the house to see what I could use.

I grabbed some wine corks left over from an old project one of my kids made, red ribbon, double-sided tape, two old bottles of red craft paint, and the tip of a branch from a tree in my yard. Ten minutes later, I had this cute little apple! I love projects that don't require a trip to the store.

FROM MY KITCHEN

Salted Caramel Popcorn

The best caramel popcorn is crunchy, not chewy, and there's a simple trick to getting it that way. After coating the popcorn in caramel, baking it low and slow dries the caramel and gives it that crisp crunch. It's one of those little extra steps that makes a big difference.

LIFE MADE EASIER

DIY Foaming Hand Soap

Foaming hand soap is ridiculously simple to make yourself, and it's an easy way to save a little money, too. I hate to spend money, so I refill my old foaming soap dispensers instead of buying new bottles every time. Once you know how little soap it actually takes to make a refill, it's hard to go back!

MY FAVORITE FIND

If you're not a fan of refilling a branded soap bottle, I found these cute foaming soap dispensers that would look much nicer sitting by the sink. They come in several metal finishes, so you can choose one that works with your kitchen or bathroom.

A LITTLE SOMETHING FREE

Printable Fall Popcorn Cones

Since we're making caramel popcorn, we might as well make it cute! This week's freebie includes three printable popcorn cones with pumpkins, fall leaves, and a cozy plaid pattern. Just print your favorite, cut it out, roll it into a cone, and tape it together. Fill it with caramel popcorn for a fall movie night, after-school treat, or a little something to share with a friend.

*This AI-generated image is just a fun preview of what the finished popcorn cones will look like. The cone designs are from the actual printable.

Thanks for being here! I hope these ideas bring a little more lovely to your week.
