Hi friends! ♡

September has me ready for fall projects, something good in the kitchen, and a few little things to look forward to. I’ve got a little bit of all of that for you this week!

FEATURE

Internet Safety for Kids

Now that kids are back in school, computers and devices are part of the routine again. They’re using them for homework, research, school accounts, games, and probably plenty of things that have nothing to do with homework.

This is a good time to revisit some basic internet safety rules with your kids. My Internet Safety for Kids article covers simple things families can talk about together, from protecting personal information to knowing what to do when something online doesn’t feel right.

It doesn’t have to be one big, serious conversation. A few reminders now can make it much easier to keep the conversation going later.

MAKE THIS

Super Simple 2x4 Pumpkins

Ready for the first pumpkin project of the season? These cute little 2x4 pumpkins are simple to make and easy to customize with your favorite fall colors.

Make a few for a mantel, shelf, porch, or anywhere that could use a little bit of fall.

FROM MY KITCHEN

Dehydrating Pears

If you have more pears than you know what to do with right now, this is one of my favorite ways to use them.

Dehydrated pears are sweet, chewy, and really simple to make. The hardest part is getting all those pears peeled, cored, and sliced.

Which brings me to this week’s Favorite Find...

MY FAVORITE FIND

My Favorite Fruit Prep Tools

When I’m slicing a big batch of apples or pears, these two tools make the job so much faster: a corer and a mandoline slicer.

LIFE MADE EASIER

Make the Rules Easy to See

Tired of repeating yourself? Point cards make expectations clear and give kids something concrete to work toward.

It's Here: Pique's New Caffeine-Free Afternoon Energy

I quit my afternoon coffee. Not because I wanted to — because I found something better.

You know that wall you hit every day around 2–3 PM? I used to just accept it as the cost of doing anything. Another coffee, a quick spike, then the crash — and somehow I'd still feel dehydrated by dinner.

Then I tried X·E Fountain, Pique's brand-new electrolyte energy drink, and I genuinely wasn't ready for how good "no crash" could feel.

No caffeine jitters. No 4 PM slump. Just clean, steady energy that actually hydrates me instead of draining me. It's built with a premium Vitamin B Complex for natural cellular energy, Magnesium Malate + Taurate for real focus, and a full electrolyte blend that makes it feel like a treat, not a chore.

The cucumber-celery-lime flavor is so crisp and refreshing — it's basically stolen my afternoon coffee slot completely.

A LITTLE SOMETHING FREE

This week’s freebie is a want-to-do list for fall. Create a wish list of a few things you’d really like to make, bake, see, do, and enjoy.

*Color and Black & White Versions

Thanks for being here! I hope these ideas bring a little more lovely to your week.
