A LITTLE INSPIRATION FOR NOVEMBER

MAKE THIS

Silly Turkey Craft

Give a craft pumpkin (or even a real one) a November makeover. Add colorful craft-stick feathers, a funny face, and dangling legs to turn it into a turkey. This project uses hot glue and a drill, so it’s a good one for older kids to make with an adult.

MY FAVORITE FIND

I get distracted easily, so it’s hard for me to get things done. I got a Pomodoro timer for two reasons: 1) to help me get going on things I don’t want to do, and 2) to help me commit to staying on task. Guess what? It’s working!

The one linked below has a special silent mode, so it costs a little more than others. If you don’t need that feature, the less expensive timers work great, too! (I have both.)

A Quick Favor for Next October

Before you take down your Halloween decorations, snap a few photos of your favorite arrangements. Save them in a “Holiday Decor” album on your phone so you can find them next year.

When you pack everything away, leave a note on top with anything you’ll want to remember—lights to replace, supplies to buy, or a decorating idea to try.

A few minutes now can save you some head-scratching next October!

These printable place cards give everyone a spot to write a few things they’re thankful for. Set one at each place with a pencil, then take turns sharing during dinner. You can also collect the cards and let everyone guess who wrote each list.

Save the idea now, and you’ll have one small detail ready when Thanksgiving rolls around.

The printable comes in pink, with a blank space to add your guests’ names. Try my editable version in 15 trending fall colors.

I hope there is a lot of chocolate in your future!
